Your PTA is always happy to help you find a way to become involved in your child's educational experience at Cold Spring. See below for some immediate needs, or if you would like to talk about other areas please contact our Volunteer Chairperson, Lisa Cohen at lisa@mkitchen.com.
Immediate needs include:
CLUSTER REPRESENTATIVE: attends monthly cluster meetings to keep our school community informed of what is going on in our Wootton cluster, and to vote for Cold Spring Elementary PTA. This is particularly important this year as building/renovation plans are being discussed for the cluster and our school looks toward the acquisition of a gymnasium.
INTERNATIONAL FAIR TALENT COORDINATOR: Works in concert with International Fair Coordinator
to organize talent portion of International Fair.
RECESS/LUNCH VOLUNTEERS: Take a midday break to enjoy being outdoors, need help with supervising our students during recess and lunch hour. Signup on the calendar on the hallway bulletin board outside the main office. Your help is appreciated.
SAFETY COMMITTEE: Please consider joining or leading our new Safety Committee. The goals of this committee will be to gather information and communicate with parents about issues such as the security of school buildings (including portables), indoor air quality, and emergency preparedness, among others.
SPIRIT WEAR: Provides parents with the opportunity to order apparel with the CSES logo. The primary goal is to promote pride among the students, teachers, and parents.
